It started in childhood; Dawn’s desire for advocacy originated when two of her relatives were victims of violent crime.
Dawn went on to get her Criminal Justice degree and interned with a prison and a police department. Decades later, she’s found her passion in immersive story-telling and helping families and survivors of violent crime get their stories out into the world.
Dawn has training as a victim advocate through the National Advocate Credentialing Program and the Office for Victims of Crime. She also trained as a volunteer crisis counselor with Crisis Text Line.
